40th EPSO Conference

Our upcoming EPSO Conference will be held on 16-17 June 2026 in Malta – with a pre-conference day on Monday, 15 June (EPSO Training Day on AI in Regulation) and a meeting of the Working Group End of Life/ Assisted Dying the day after: Thursday, June 18.

Main conference themes:

• Social Isolation and Loneliness  – A top priority and important policy issue for public health across all age groups!
• Regulation of Quality, Safety, and Leadership in Elderly care and Long-term care – Challenges and handling perspectives
• Leadership in Learning from experience (including adverse events) – Learning from experience around Regulation and Enforcement of Quality, Safety and Innovation by EPSO Regulatory Network Partners; what methods & instruments are used by our colleagues for regulation and inspection. What are the learnings?
• Data infrastructure and the use of data and AI by Regulators, Inspectorates and Supervisory organisations – How to use existing data infrastructure and manage new developments in data analyses and the use of AI

This conference is organised by EPSO and hosted by the Older Persons Standards Authority (OPSA) Malta.
